The defendant in a state senator's lawsuit is accused of causing untold death and horror and threatening to cause more still. He can be sued in Douglas County, the legislator claims, because He's everywhere.Apparently, the lawsuit is filed because the senator wants to make a point about the frivolous lawsuits we hear so frequently these days. But this may well be the beginning of a class-action suit against the almighty.
Scott Adams has an interesting post on the topic. Here's one of Scott's comments on what a courtroom scene might look like -
Lawyer: “Where were you on the night of the tornado?”There's not enough information to speculate which party might win this case yet.
God: “Um, everywhere. Same as always. Go to Hell. Seriously.”
