How to make astronomy interesting

Earlier this week, the video of Miss Teen South Carolina did its rounds and I caught it on Fake Steve's blog here and on BoingBoing here. Against FSJ's advice, I'm posting the video below for your entertainment/education (ahem!).

On a related note, below is how to make education more interesting and easy to understand for everyone. The picture is available at NASA's website and they have a fresh one everyday. This one is from sometime in 2005 - the time when they found WATER on MARS

If geography was this expertly explained, maybe the teenagers of today would find it easier to locate iRaq on the world map.
